Photo Grab-Bag

Is Grab-Bag hyphenated? Not important…

So you know when you are reading a blog, or a book, or maybe an article about a foreign place and you think, “Wow, I really wish there were more photos of it, I am having a hard time picturing it from just the words!”. Yeah. Sorry about that. I know it’s been unacceptably long since my last blog had photos…. and not to make excuses, but here’s an excuse: bad/unreliable internet connection in my souq town.  That’s all I got in the way of excuses, and it’s a pretty lame one, so in the spirit of making amends…. PHOTO GRAB BAG!!!

Right outside my Hanut (general store in town), i love it when they pile the crops on donkeys like this, they look like porcupines... even funnier to watch them walk (and the load isn't heavy, so the enjoyment is completely donkey-friendly)
